That's why I spend a lot of time trying to get facts from both sides of the present situation in Ukraine.    So far, my POV is that Ukraine, with a legitimate, democratically elected, government in charge would do better than many of the recent additions -- and even better than old ones, such as most of the Med countries...    A Ukraine with a government not consisting of only greedy oligarchs would do quite well.
