Alas, even if Windows is forced upon you, and you have to pay the usual $100+ fine for it, you can always google for the exact same computer and can readily find it without Windows in most cases -- without the Windows fine.
Been there, done that, got a shitload of consultant fees to prove it. 8-)

I remember that, from five years ago. Oh boy, if only you knew how far Ubuntu has come since then. Nowadays it's almost as bloated as Windows, but at least you can delete all the extra shit from Ubuntu once it's installed -- try that on Win7 or Win8 if you can...
