The only echo that concerns anyone outside of zone 2 I think is FIDO_SYSOP. Here it was a matter of messages older than circa ten years, when we here in R20 received the echo with seen-by stripping, so obviously the Z1 nodes that connects to the fidoweb now was not in the s-b.
The rest was mostly R20-echoes, where obviously no other node numbers but R20 ditto was in the s-b. So if you have recently connected to any of those (I think that this mostly concerns Gert Andersen), you would get a handful.
Then there's some Z2 specific echoes as well. If you weren't connected to the echoes before, you now have all the messages that you haven read before... 8-)
Many thanks to Joe Delahay and Wilfred van Velzen for pointing this out to me, and especially to Wilfred who helped me find the (most likely) reason.
If you have any other ideas, feel free to but in -- after all, it *is* rather silent in here ATM, isn't it?
