From what we are being told by Swedish media, the Londoners are generally for remaining while the "rural" areas are for leaving.
And now we know that 51.9% of the voters want out, so now it's becoming very interesting.
Of course, the UK leadership of the EU first quarter of next year will not happen. I also will be very interested in finding out how all this leaving EU will turn out practically. If only the Swedish politicians would have the stomach to ask the Swedish public what we want.
Whenever a poll about this is taken here, the result is usually the opposite to when the UK people voted in the 1975 referendum: 67% are for leaving the union and 33% are for staying.
But then again Sweden has always been a Schengen treaty, which is basically all we need.
Now, if the UK leaves, I hope that Scotland will apply for membership. The whisky is too expensive as it is, we don't want to add customs charges on top of it... 8-)
Plus I hope that Amazon will relocate to Scotland -- I've bought tons of stuff from the UK Amazon, and it has always been very successful purchases.
