Now THAT is the David that I've been accustomed to for a decade or more!
Please keep up the Anglophile watch over those of us that don't have English as our native tongue! Unlike in some of the US echoes, I think that all of us in this echo will only be grateful when our mistakes are pointed out.
After all, there is such a huge difference in the grammar of all the different native languages spoken by the participants of this echo -- we are all subject to (what may seem to stupid) mistakes.
I still, after all those years, have problem with singular/plural forms. They are totally different in Swedish where we e.g. got the "du-reform"
... in 1967 and after that there were no longer titles when we addressed each other just "du". (you singular -- you plural is "ni" and it's never used today when we talk to each other).
And then there is the pronoun problem that I still have after all those years writing in English. Yeah, well, feel free any time to correct our mistakes, that's how *I* can improve my English knowledge.
