I hope you forgive me Ward, if I reply to this private netmail in ENET.SYSOP, since I think it may concern more sysops than the three of us involved.
Yes I know that this is a very unorthodox entry. But my judgement when JoHo asked for a node number was that it didn't matter much where I placed him. He is working on IP connection for FrontDoor as we speak, and as soon as he have it figured out, there will be a "proper" entry in the nodelist.
The reason he and I wanted to rush forward a nodelist entry was so that he could send out pending license keys from a proper FTN number.
And yes, I'm fully aware of the fact that the US RCs that wrote the P4 did not want to take any responsibility for routing mail from their RC admin numbers, but I do so just the same. Route any mail to JoHo via my system, and hopefully it WILL be properly routed until such time as I can crashmail it to his system.
Sorry if I've broken some ancient POTS related, hopelessly outdated, rules, but I DO route mail to all RIN system in R20 (even to Holger, who has been a RIN node for more than a decade now).
