I truly sympathise with you Robert. When my wife (Anita) went ill she first spent two weeks on ICU in Gothenburg and then was raced to the ECMO unit in Stockholm on a dedicated jet plane. Where she spent another five weeks with a state of the art heart and lung machine.
Eventually they did not manage to save her, but the resulting bill was negative -- I even got paid for the expenses to go up to Stockholm (500km) and watch her being taking out of her life suspending systems.
I've always wondered how the US people can silently agree on spending all that tax money of theirs on keeping military all over the world, when it could have been used for free healthcare, education and elderly care.
The US Chamber of Commerce surely has a lot of issues to answer to the US public...
