Well, we can notice one thing, after the politicians changed our constitution to mandate the election to take place the second Sunday of September rather than what we've had for about a century: the third Sunday.
The weather gods didn't like that at all. As far as I can remember, election day has always had wonderful weather -- this, the second of September it was pouring cats and dogs. I bet next Sunday it'll be fabulous weather as usual the third Sunday of September.
