Dynamic ip's have never been a problem in fidonet, as long as the inbound traffic is not limited.
Even Ward's system is reachable, and he is changing ip many times a day!
My ip at 2:221/360 has been the same over 3 years now. I've defined a fixed cloned MAC in my router, so it always asks for the same thing from my ISP. :)
