did you ask for help ?

emerge --sync
emerge --oneshot gentoo-sources
emerge --ask --depclean
zcat /proc/config.gz >/usr/src/linux/.config
genkernel --oldconfig --no-menuconfig all

now add the new kernel in /boot/grub/grub.cfg with same options as the running kernel at top

reboot, this should work, if not we are back to you would not pay me a ticket
