we forget that mobil devices is modems aswell so even without ipv6 it can take modem dials with the right software to this
its just that android apps only have forkus on ip space, not modem imho, i say it again, fidonet can be working on you water line if needed :=)
EMSI / BINKP do not need ipv6 or some other stupid internet
next stem app on android would be a VMODEM app integreted to android os 8, just like PRINTER devices support
then aftershock and hotdoged just need VMODEM support
should i bet ? :=)
there might be chromebooks with modems, haha
