The problem was not the speedstream adapter/modem 4-port it was a little telephone filter there was for my fastnet phone there was gone down so the internet was still working. TDC came with a new big business 4 port adapter/modem and could not make it to work with use of my fast ip address and only got my fastnet phone to work again, so they changed out with a smaller 1-port tdc modem and a small little telephone filter and it works fine.
Yes I know it and has thinking on to try out to make a newer kernel to see how it will run with husky msged, but I have lost a text file there told the command of make the kernel with old setting. My router linux is too a older kernel and it is the only linux there is 32-bit all other pc with linux is 64-bit. I use the easy way to make kernel with.
