the net pointlist segments you compile as a NPK to be sent to the RPK of your region, who compiles the net pointlist segments of one or more nets from within your region to a regional pointlist segment for the whole region 20. If you collect a couple of net-pointlist segments on your system you also can have a network level compile for your own net on your local machine combined with the other net level segments as RPK
ie. I compile the region24 net240 pointlist segment from individual bossnodes to the net240 pointlist segment with one makenl control file and in another run I compile the net240 netlevel pointlist segment together with other netlevel segments from within r24 to the regional pointlist segment and in the last run, I run the Z2PNT compile with a couple of regional pointlist segments :)
