I think 2.2 had experimental bridging, but it didn't work too well and was very unstable. That was the main reason I went with OpenBSD for bridging applications back then.

There have been no security advisories since then that would have called for a reboot.

This system is a Fido node, and not much else. The thing I worry about most is a certain vital software (developed mainly in Russia ;-). No kernel or system update will help me with that.
