Quartz is the lowest standard, of course. However, you can buy DCF clocks at hardly any extra cost here. NTP needs more expensive Wifi hardware, setup, and maintenance. I have a couple of (different) Wifi radios that are all supposed to synchronise via NTP. They even claim to set daylight saving time over ntp. However, not a single one (out of probably 5 or 6 we own) works as advertised. Compared to that, DCF is reliable, simple to use and cheap.
