Unfortunately that's wishful thinking. I've seen several sudden shutdowns of services over the years. But yes, the probability of a paid service being discontinued suddenly is lower than of a free service. And it's a good idea to have at least two DynDNS services, in case one of them has an outage or being DDoSed.
