Yep, SoHo routers able to handle 1GBit/s traffic are inexpensive. Routers which handle 10Gbit/s still aren't cheap. When you'll get 10Gbit/s via GPON 10Gbit/s routers will have become inexpensive too. This is what I've meant.

Please don't be disappointed when such a box doesn't achieve routing and filtering with a thoughput of 10Gbit/s. This is the realm of network processors.
