No, you see this too complicated :) The fiber enters the building and goes into a distribution box (like the telephone wire) and the ONT is connected to the distribution box via short piece of fiber (like a NTBA). Then you would connect your router via an ethernet cable to the ONT.

It's exactly the same like the telephone wire, just with fiber.
