And you actually expect something else? Wait until 100-200 people (or more) are shot or blown up in Ottawa (or Belgium, or the Netherlands) by self-styled "Muslims"(who are less Muslims than the "Crusaders" they condemn so vehemently) and then see what happens. The tolerance for extremists will disappear like a shot in the affected countries. And the understanding for the American reactions will accordingly soar.
Don't kid yourself - when people are attacked - bloodily attackled - by outsiders with no better reason than an imagined, supposed religious difference - there will definitely be an equally bloody reaction. Look at how many Muslims are killing "fellow Muslims" - like in the 30-year's war, Protestents against Catholics and vice-versa, with no justificationnon either side.
I can still remember the comments here about how the Americans should forget 9/11 and go on with their lives. How naive, how unrealistic! Now the Europeans are getting some of their own comments thrown back at them. France has already realized what's going on, Belgium follows. Some fine day the Germans will stop trying to buy themsdelves out of action and realize that only violence will counteratct violence. Wonderful if that were not true, but we're not living in "Alice in Wonderland".
Peace and tolerance are nice, but not everyone wants them.
