How about the so-called "world religions"? Ignored and irrelevant? Then why are people being slaughtered by so-called "Islamic" fundamentalists? And, by the way, how do you distinguish a "fundamentalist" from what the Christians called a "Crusader" a thousand years ago?

Incidentally, Persia (Iran and parts of Iraq) and Afghanistan very definitiely did exist thousands of years ago. Not every country was founded in the last two centuries.
