Certainly the best of luck to her and you in this time of crisis. Such surgery can go terribly wrong, as I learned with my mother (where the surgeon used an extra-long bolt that caused her excruciating pain). I only knew this afterwards, and was furious at the so-called "doctor" who had performed such incompetent surgery.
Please convey her the very best wishes from me, and my desire for her rapid recovery.
