I was referring to the time that has passed since the referendum. And whether "they" will take years to compregend how to implement the decision is something we can't know at present.
The inference in the original posting that the voters didn't know what they were voring for is something that is easy to say, by an outsider, after the referendum, but is mere supposition based on the negative continental EU reaction to the referendum.
By the way, there's a good reason why the German government never allowed it's citizens to vote on EU membership or adoption of the Euro, much less on a Gerexit. The sentiment here is presumably not much different from that in the UK.
