Your excuse for presuming to judge things of which you have not the least knowledge. Incidentally, the phrase "what's your excuse" is common in English.

Behavior? Did you actually write "behave"? And have you never considered that other people have different opinions, regardless of your beliefs?
Once and for all, you are NOT! a speaker for all things German merely because you were born in that country. And you do NOT have a knowledge of the situation in the USA merely because you may occasionally read a negative article. I've forgotten more about the States than you will ever know, and have a damned good knowledge of the situation in Germany after mnore than 40 years of residence. You, on the other hand, write about things you cannot possibly know, from the standpoint of someone who has never lived or really experienced what you write about.
