He should be glad he can't remember anything. Any memories of stuff like that would give him nightmares for years on end.
Glad to hear he's doing better, though. And with the stent (just a metal mesh cylinder put into a partly blocked artery to keep it open), he's probably OK for quite a while. Close call, though. A first heart attack is usually either fatal or you can live with the situation for a very long time. Look at Dick Cheney, who's still alive after numerous heart attacks - of course, he also has had the best of care.
