As I mentioned, you simply have no feeling for "black humor". And you'll always find individuals who will agree with your preconceptions. In my case - just for your education - there were even books of black humor published in the 1970-1980s. But they weren't by essayists.
Let's just leave it with the fact that you simply don't understand black humor, nor do you find it funny. It takes all kinds.
