Depends on where you go and who you meet. Stay away from the heavily populated areas and meet normal people (not the wild-eyed types in southern Florida and parts of southern Texas), and I suspect you'll have no problems.

I disagree. People who are afraid are dangerous. And if they're armed as in the USA, doubly so.
