Indeed, since otherwise we would all have to flip the big red switch and that would be the end of fido.
The whole business appears to be one of the typical layman ideas of what the Internet might be/should be/isn't is. One wonders whether any of the overpaid and underworked people who wrote this crap have ever used a computer, or only have their computer used by some underpaid underling.
The big question is only whether the "Abmahn-Industrie" in Germany will jump on this lucerative bandwagon. If so, Fido in Germany is doomed. But until then, I'll keep active.
