Unfortunately with this result:
C:\>telnet 89.247.225.146 24554 'telnet' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
I've tried everything suggested or that I can think of, and the result is still the same:
Pings to both the DNS aka and the IP are successful. I can also send mail packaged with binkd. But apparently nobody can reach me using the DNS aka. I'm really reaching my limits.
The only thing I haven't tried yet is to totally replace my fido system with a backup, the latest being 30december2017. That would erase all netmails and echomails sent or received since that time, which I hesitate to do. But if worse comes to worst, I may have to do that. And if even that doesn't work - I just don't know.
