My feeling exactly. I was happy to see the Germans eliminated, since that meant cessation of the wild screams and parties and waving of flags here. Nothing like that when the German reunification took place, except - as some will doubtless remind me - in Berlin. I couldn't even get a German flag for the occasion. Not as important as the world cup, I suppose :-(
If other people get their jollies from such primitive things, let them. But I'd appreciate it if they could be quiet about it.
