At least someone who has read Shakespeare :-) Glad to hear from you. I often feel the same way.
By the way, if you know the Shakespeare original, how are the Russian translations? Good, bad, indifferent? I've seen several translations of various English works in German that were very good indeed. One of the best was of "My Fair Lady" (The film with Rex Harrison and Audry Hepburn). If you view the English version of the film, and then the German version, the "feeling" of the original English is nearly perfect in the German. What the Germans call not a translation but an "Umdichting" (re-write), it's hard to translate). I have always admired the poets who translated the original from English into German. I wouldn't be capable of that. You have to be totally fluent in both languages, including idioms and expressions, to be capable of that.
