Hmm, my turn to remember the first buch of boxes I worked on:
IBM 1401 -- plus unit record equipment, tape puches, card puches both hand and machine, sorters etc. - Worked on 1961 to 65.
IBM 7094 -- linked to 1401 with 16+ tape drives. This one was in view of a very large windows in the West End, London where there was always large numbers of pedestrians going home, paring etc all night so we would raise an arm and at the same time press the unload button to make all of the tape drives open the heads and rewind/unload the tapes. Never did understand why they were fancinated by it although we did hang up silly face's on the head fronts.
IBM 360 mid to late 60's and onwards followed by 370 and later.
