Hello Bjorn,

KvE>> I have to add about 10km/h when driving at 130km/h

BF> My Volvo seems to "plane out" after 90km/h, after that it's the same
BF> difference (5km/h) for more than the speed limits in Sweden (max 120 km/
BF> h) allows me to drive. And then some...  8-)

KvE>> There is a difference of 1km/h between my summer and winter tyres.

BJ> Yes, there is that too of course. 2km/h over the entire range for me,
BJ> but then the Swedish winter tires are rather brute, as you might
BF> understand.

I have the same experience in the period november 1992 until frenruary 2000
when I owned a Suzuki Samurai Van de luxe with two sets of tires.
The original one and the smallest version of the American BF-Goodrich Mud and
Snow tires with 12 mm profile on it.
They were great in mud and snow conditions,
and indeed the speedometer readings were different too.
In 1993 I let build in to diff locks for better terrain results.
So I had seven years pleasure driving in terrain almost 2 times every month
at two different clubs.
I had to give up this hobby after I got to ill to work anymore.
That was a pity, surely when there is much snow, I mis this car.

OffRoad greetings from Henri.
