That is not something I am monitoring. The current procedure seems to be that, the ZC's exchange their zone segment early on Wednesday. Changes that reach the ZC's before that schedule are visible in the nodelist produced by the other zones. There may be a day delay, as a Wednesday zone update from Z1 is published after the wednesday dailylist as they are produced in different time zones.
So it is my observation, dat updates from Z2 RC's that reach the ZC2 before midnight on Thuesday, wil be publisched in all Friday worldlists. All updates that reach ZC2 between Tuesday midnight and Thursday midnight will be in the Z2 Fridaylist but will be delayed for the other zones.
So if you ignore the dailies, Tuesday midnight is de deadline to be in all the zone distribution files on Friday. I think that is even mentioned in the makenl doc's
To get a proper up to date daily nodelist, you have to merge the Z1 section from the Z1 daily, the Z2 section from the Z2 daily and the Z3 zonelist. Of course you also have to get the Z4 section somewhere, but where is irrelevant.
Personally I would prefer to have daily Zonefiles in stead of daily nodelist, but I think a quarterly would not change anything for me.
