I think you mean circular, but apart from the entries that are take from the nodelist, that are put into the binkp.net domain as CNAMES, it is also possible to register your fxx.nyy.zz.binkp.net directly with your IP addrees. There are fascillities on the website to do that. Nodes that are registered directly will not have their hostname also extracted from the nodelist.
When the directly registered entries in binkp.net expire, host fxxx.nyyyy.zz.binkp.net will return Host not found.
The active entries like e.g. f117.n5000.z2.binkp.net will return a valid IP adress.
