Maybe you should ask Ward to reduce the value of maxclients in his binkd config. I gather his adsl uplink is not unlimited in bandwith. Running many clients in parrallel may lead to timeouts.
In the past I have seen that multiple connects were made to deliver a nodelist and TIC file. I could not find a recent example in my logs. Hoewever these multiple connects never cause a problem. The files are delivered in alphabetical order, so de nodelist is delivered first, the TCxxxxxx.TIC later. On my system the file ticker is run at intervals, not when triggered by the reception of a particular file.

I only know the excellent (Rocky Mountain) Basic that Hewlett-Packard installed on their Desktop calculators. Excellent for driving instruments and data collection. The available matrix operations allowed for fast regression analysis.
