The first few times I went to Sweden, long ago, I used to take the GЎteborg-Fredrikshavn ferry. On ferries you pay for the length and sometimes for the height as well. With normal cars, they can use two layers, caravans and Campercars need more height.

Well if you see some of the caravans are over 11m in length, KaBe comes to mind and the pulling car a Volvo, that more then twice the space I need.
You pay for the length. My length is 6.09 Meters. Sometimes I get away with 5.99m. That works on the Store Belt bridge, the ╓resundsbron has autmatic length measument, so there I have to pay the 6.99m tariff.
At the Store Belt I will have to p[ay 32Euro or 48.25Euro dependant on the lenth of under or over 6 meters.
Current price for the ╓resundsbron Car up to 6 Meters cash payment 52 Euro Mobile hoome over 6 Meters, car up to 6 m with caravan or trailer or car 6-9 meters 104 Euro
So in the worst case I will have to pay about 150 Euro each way. That and 300 liters of diesel fuel, for one Saturday at Hallefors/Hulsjo ;) But where else can I get Elund sausages.
I once heard a story about somebody at the tollgate of the ╓resundsbron. The driver said, my camper is under 6m, the guy at the tolgate did not agree. He said, you are above 6m as you have a bicycle rack. So it went back and forth. Then the driver, while standing at the tollgate removed the bicycle and the rack and put both inside the Camper. The guy at the tollgate had to agree that the camper was below 6m and the low rate was charged. The Camper drove past the tollgate, stopped and the driver remounted the bicycle rack and the bicycle. ;)
It is a nice story, I don't know if it really happened.
