Great, then the nodelist is in a far better state, than in my worst dreams. But being capable of receiving incoming binkp (FTS-1026) without listing a valid hostname does not qualify to the question I asked.

I do not use the .ndl suffix. But I do many grep's on the daily nodelist. Often I report what I find, like use of fidonet.net in hostnames and hostnames not returning IP addresses. Or nodes listed as Down for almost two years. But when what I state is true, nobody cares.
