Sorry Bob, it is the other way around. Ward has some old Hi8 tapes and wants to convert these to some High Definition format to be stored on Disk. This will not imprrove the quality, but it can then be proccessed and viewed on current day technology.

It is not a professional problem, he is just looking for hardware that can read his Hi8 tapes.
