Yes, there is that. Not a big problem for me. But... my message was in mot in UTF-8, it was in CP866. The irony is that by answering in CP866 you are demonstrating the restrictions of 8 bit character sets and emphesising the need for a wider horizon. Your o with umlaut does not show well in CP866.
