It would depend on who is reading wouldn't it? For someone who has a native language for which Cyrillic is the standard alphabet and who is not familiar with the Latin alphabet, it would be easier would it not?

You do not have a problem with my name do you? Yet, it is spelled in my national alphabet. Which BTW is not the same as US ASCII, but it so happens that /my/ name does not contain any characters that are outside what US ASCII and the Dutch alphabet have in common. Some of my fellow Dutchman are not so lucky.
