My idea behind this suggestion was that eventually we would all use the daily list as our main nodelist and drop the weekly list. Having the main source of connection information named by the Fidonet defaultstandard of "nodelist" seemed a good idea to me, considering that I have come across applications that required "nodelist" to be the name of the primary file.
