Hello David,

On Sunday June 26 2016 13:39, you wrote to Alexey Vissarionov:

David, the idea that the UK could come back and say "sorry, we didn't mean it, let's kiss and make up again" is an illusion.

Theoretically what you propose could happen, but that is not how things work in the real world. The relation between the UK and the EU has suffered permanent damage and it will never be as it was before. The shit has hit the fan and there is no way to get it back into the horse.

You forget that that the UK constitution does not apply outside the UK. What I foresee as a possible scenario is that if the UK refuses to cooperate in a swift and clean divorce, it will be a fight of twenty seven against one and the deal that eventually emerges will be a LOT worse for the UK.

Cheers, Michiel
