They may not be in a hurry, but that tactic may not be in their advantage.
The theory is that nothing happens until the UK formally invokes article 50. The fact is that the EU members met in Bratislawa yesterday. Without the UK.
The UK may not be in a hurry, but the rest of the EU takes the position that thay want it over and done with ASAP. Delays cause uncertainty and uncertainty is bad for the economy. Delay tactics will degrade the negotiation position of the UK.
What happened yesterday, will happen more often. The UK will not be invited any more unless it can not be avoided. The UK wanted a Brexit and so they shall have it. If they want a good deal, they better start negotiating ASAP.
