The problem with 25 year old stuff is that it may not be broke by 25 year old standards in a 25 year old environment, but ever so often they are no longer suitable to meet with today's needs. My first motor cycle, a BMW R25, had no turn indicators, no brake light and no mirrors. Perfectly OK back then. I would not ride it like that today. Not on a public road...
