Exactly my point. It is the same infrastructure independant on provider. So if the infrastructure fails, clients of all providers are affected equally.
So it is not in the interest of the individual provider to contribute more than the absolute minimum to the infrastructure. OTOH, the maintainers of the infrastructure are also privatised. /Their/ prime interest it to keep their shareholders happy. Investing in extra capacity is not high on their list of priorities. The infrastucture is not keeping up with demand...
