I may shock some people here, but I think she will be missed and hopefully she will stay on even if only as a grunt sysop.
I owe Janis my continued presence in Fidonet. In 2006 I suffered a catastrophic crash [whatever followed later was not as bad] and was ready to abandon ... it was really bad. She may not recall it that well but she pulled me through and enabled me to revive my presence.
The fact that we butted heads a couple of times in the overal picture of this hobby maybe isn't all that important. We found a modus-vivendi to work together. She tried to do a good job in keeping Z1 together and was always ready for a recipe whenever I needed one.
