Recently Alex Barinov ascended to the position of RC50.
Due to his absence he was not yet inserted by the outgoing RC50 in the 2:50/0 spot.
Both gentlemen seem not to have communicated that well as to how/what/when and by whom things would happen.
As a result a segment with Alex in the 2:50/0-spot was overriden by a previous situation in that 2:50/0-spot.
The issue of doing the transition "now" surfaced but I'm affraid that will not work. I did announce a few days ago I will be gone to New York from the 16th through the 20th and I will not have the transition of the largest region in Fidonet happen without standing by in case of issues.
Therefor I have decided to freeze the REGION50 as it is now and will appear on Friday until my return. New versions of REGION50 will not be discarded but will be "on hold" so to speak until next week.
My appologies if this inconveniences someone somewhere, but I refuse to leap into a dark hole. One week extra will not cause bodily harm to anyone.
