At one time way way back there was one maintained by Peter Witschi. When Peter became "the" echolistkeeper, the Z1 and Z2 versions were merged.
Then Peter got stabbed in the back by Z1-people who historically cannot handle it when a certain reputed function escapes them.
Peter Witschi in disgust quit his echolist attempt but also abandoned Fidonet.
After that Z2 never went into echolist-mode again as beyond the nice words it was used to satisfy political agendas, and it still is.
Bottom-line, the feeling in Z2 is that we are doing very well without one.
