If authorities shut the internet it takes Fidonet also into a stranglehold but it was noticed in the past Fidonet is below the radar and e.g. the leadership in the PRC (to name just that) was checking, or prohibiting, email but not Fido.
Please send any and as much reports as you can, especially in case of a crackdown should that occur, Fidonet may be of some use at that time and I have contacts with news people to spread reports that may not make it otherwise ... if they are worth any.
