I am going to be totally out of line here, as it is a moderator's call, but this is not necessary.
Let's keep the Nazi-analogies out of here, we're past that period both historically and Fido-ology.
For the sake of correctness, BjФrn has been the last moderator so far appointed by the previous one as per custom. There was the Fidonews-putsch by Janis/Bob/Ross which backfired, then there was Janis starting on her own a same-nme called publication. The original timeline documenting what goes on in Fidonet (as well as not) is BjФrn's publication.
I understand you don't like the man and that is your good right, but let's revisit Nick Andre's words.

You can say that again but as long as there are certain indivuals that make it worthwhile I'll stick around... you, Michiel, Kees, Nick, Roger, Joe, Wilfred, others ...
Fidonet has been a tremendous ride and we have been witnesses to an incredible social phenomenum before the internet became known under that name. I met a lot of people, lived a lot of adventures, learned a lot ... you will not dissagree.
So, let's drop the name-calling, just use the "next"-key if need be ...
